The Chick That Spent Her Life on Radio
MK The Oldies Chick

A radio veteran in every sense of the term, MK the Oldies Chick, to put it bluntly, has spent her entire life in radio. From working behind the scenes as a receptionist to news reporting on-air to gracing the WRSK airwaves with her memorable voice today, she shows no signs of stopping.

Advancing to the Top
A radio industry veteran with a diverse background ranging from office work to news reporting to on-air, MK carved a career in Northwest New Jersey radio before landing at WDHA/WMTR as WDHA’s receptionist in 1984.
She spent many years behind the scenes before becoming an Afternoon Drive radio personality during WMTR's standards era and subsequently hosting the long-running Sinatra Hour. MK also hosted the award-nominated Animal Watch feature highlighting animal rights and adoptable pets from a local shelter.

Becoming the Oldies Chick
She became the Oldies Chick when WMTR changed format to Classic Oldies, and for six years helmed the Afternoon Cruise Home. MK also served as the Public Service Director and worked with many local non-profit organizations.
MK the Oldies Chick can now be heard Saturday afternoons from 2 to 6pm on The Saturday Afternoon Get-Together on 97.5 WRSK. MK will soon be heard Sunday afternoons from 1 to 4pm on Memories Music Radio spinning vinyl from her personal collection.
