WRSK-FM Cruzin' Oldies 97.5 has been Sussex County Community College's flagship public radio station since its first live broadcast on August 12, 2017, from the Decades of Memories record shop on Spring Street in Newton.

Since then, Cruzin' Oldies has become one of the premier radio stations in northern New Jersey, covering Sussex County, as well as much of the counties of Warren, Morris, and even parts of Pike County in Pennsylvania, but can be streamed at any time from anywhere in the world.

Cruzin' Oldies is the brainchild of Tony Dee (Anthony DeNicola), who, since being the head of broadcasting at SCCC and a broadcasting professor with endless experience in the radio industry, wanted to create a radio station that puts students, the college as a whole, and the community first. He did this by starting WRSK with the following goal in mind: offering Sussex County communities decades-worth of music while offering students hands-on experience in broadcasting and radio show hosting at the same time.

Over time, a diverse array of DJs with different tastes and specialties joined the station alongside Tony Dee, including the prolific vinyl collector Dave the Rave, sports broadcaster James Den Bleyker, Beatlemaniac Lisa B, SCCC Student Koli Marie, SCCC alum, filmmaker, and doo-wop enthusiast Dennis Sema, and many others.
As they say, the rest is history...
