The Man of Relics and Rarities
Dave the Rave

Dave Kapulski, better known as Dave the Rave, is a hit with listeners all over the world with his weekly radio show 'Relics and Rarities' as much as he is a hit with his local post office.
Why the post office, you ask? Well, to put it simply, they have been instrumental in helping Dave the Rave's massive collection of vinyl records grow with near-constant deliveries.
In fact, Dave the Rave's vinyl record collection is now over 150K records big.

The Summer of Psychedlic Sally
Long before hosting WRSK's popular show Dave the Rave's Relics and Rarities, airing every 9 PM to 10 PM each Saturday night, Dave Kapolski was the keyboardist for the psychedelic '60s rock band The Hallmarks. Releasing only one 45 in their short-lived history, the incredible track "Soul Shakin' Psychedlic Sally," the track has become one of the most collectible and intriguing songs ever put to wax.

Dave the Rave's Touching Purpose
An insurance man by day, by night, Dave the Rave works tirelessly to preserve the almost forgotten history of the underground music of the 1960s. Coming from the royalty of the era, even having a song he helped make play on American Bandstand with Dick Clark in 1967, these days, on WRSK, Dave the Rave's Relics and Rarities show features nothing but incredible and often super rare rock, garage rock, surf, and soul music of the 1960s.

Playing music straight from his vast collection of 45s, LPS, and roughly 30,000 CDs, Dave the Rave is both a collector and lover of music, with a collection so large and valuable, its total value is over $1 million dollars, with a $1 million dollar insurance policy covering his collection in place also. Due to his collection and efforts to preserve the music of the past, Dave the Rave works to preserve music for the future generations, all the while being an invaluable member of the WRSK team.
